In 2021, I was hospitalized for 9 days. My diagnoses was life changing. Although insurance covered a lot of the expenses, I had a large bill I had to cover. My world had been turned upside down. I had CT scans every 3 months, Doctor visits monthly, and lab work whenever the doctor ordered.
The stress of already owing a large amont in medical bills and what would be coming up put a lot of pressure on my finances and HSA savings. The stress of this new disease and the past medical bills was a lot to take on at one time.
I reached out to the MOK fund team and requested some help with the medical bills from 2021. The MOK fund team responded very quickly and helped pay off a large portion.
I have never worked for a company that would provide this much help to an employee. Since receiving assistance, my stress level has come down and current medical bills are manageable.
What an incredible benefit for our employees.
Thank you Willscot Mobile Mini.

I would like to say thank you from myself and my children, however, I feel words cannot express my gratitude to all who were involved in helping us in this time of need.
I would like to update you that we are now getting settled in our apartment and it has been a crazy hectic time, but the smiles I see on my children’s faces, that I have not seen in a long time is something that makes everything we have gone through, good and bad, worth it to get us out of that situation.
For being a part of that, you have been a part of our family, and I feel honored to be a part of mobile mini’s family.
Again, I would like to just thank you all.

Here is my daughter Mya & our groceries. & the full tank of gas.
Made me feel much better this weekend knowing there are great people behind the scenes in this world!
And I get to work with them! You all showed me that all the giving I’ve done through out the years, there are people out there who’ll help when the tables turned and I was down on my luck. For my daughter to pick out what she wanted to dinners, her face lit up like a Christmas tree?

"I would like to thank the MOK fund for your gracious contribution to my financial situation during my neck surgery this past November. The surgery and recovery resulted in my being out of work for over a month with minimal income. This was a very scary time for me as did not know what the future held for me and my family. Also, I would not have been able to pay my bills during this time and would have been in a lot of trouble. I was out of work for a month with no income or sales commission and when I reached out to you, you were there to help with open arms. I take care of my 3 year old Grandson with no child support and my Down Syndrome brother as well as my very special wife. My wife is “stay at home” for our grandson and my brother. Our family has always prided itself to be on the giving side with our special living circumstances, but when we needed assistance, we had no idea where to turn or how to ask for assistance. To think that a someone would come to the aide of me and my family was amazing. My family and I can’t thank you enough for what you did to help us during a very tough time. We are forever grateful."

"One of the reasons I joined Mobile Mini was because of the culture of the company. Beyond the “I got this” attitude that everyone brings to their work each day, there is a deep conviction around helping others and helping our communities. Community service has always been important to me but when I found out that we can also help our colleagues and coworkers in need, I jumped at the opportunity. So often we help people we don’t know because it’s the right thing to do, but it means a lot more when you can help those who you do know. That’s why I support MOK and hopefully you will support MOK too!"

"I would like to take a moment to thank you, the entire MOK board of directors, and the many contributors who’ve donated their time and resources to MOK. There are no words that could express my gratitude towards you all. You have given my family something we were unable to find, regardless of our many attempts amongst other charities and organizations. You gave us HOPE. You gave us hope in that there is still kindness and compassion in our community. You gave us hope in that we are not all alone in this and that other really do care. You gave us hope in that people really do hold true to :Love thy neighbor”, and you gave us hope that, regardless of what gets thrown at us, this too shall pass. I hope you know that you gave my family so much more than a check. You gave us hope. You gave us the ability to dig out from under this and actually get back on track. You’ve given us the opportunity to STOP and BREATH!! And you gave my children a Mom that can relax for a second and enjoy her children, rather than stressing out and in a panic. Yes, you’ve given my family so much more than you can imagine! Thank You , from my entire family…"

"There are not enough words to thank the MOK fund and for what they have done for me and my family through a very difficult time in our lives. My son was born with a severe heart disorder that could only be corrected with open heart surgery. His 1st was when he was just 2 weeks old. He received a donor heart valve that would need to be replaced once he outgrew it. In 2016 his heart surgery was scheduled in August. This was his 2nd open heart surgery and was an extremely complicated surgery. I did not have the means or time off to miss work and be at his bedside every day that he was in the hospital. This was very difficult for me but I made the choice to be there no matter what. I had to request assistance from the MOK fund for the 1st time and that was not easy for me. They were able to assist us and because of this I was able to focus on my sons recovery 100%. Unfortunately 10 months later in the summer of 2017 we found out the surgery did not work and his valve was too damaged with scare tissue. This caused him to go into heart failure and he was immediately placed in ICU until he was stable enough to receive his 3rd open heart surgery just 10 months after his 2nd. We were back in the same situation and again I needed to focus on his health and recovery. The MOK fund had a lot to do with me being able to be with my son every step of the way without the added stress of not knowing how I could afford to do this. My son started high school this year and has a mechanical heart valve now but is doing AMAZING!! I am forever grateful for the generosity, compassion, and efforts made by the MOK fund to make this very difficult time in our lives a little easier to deal with."
